Lazy dy, will only update on those who came. Side note, Khe Heong already back Ipoh on the day we gather so absent. Others didn't reply.

Jia Yi - still studying, still have 2 years of study

Wai kit - still work at Singapore, come back every weekend, daughter already 5 years old.

Ah Chai - still working at Ericson (I think)

Liang wei - this year came with +1, after CNY will start work at Sunway medical, at last back KL

Kim - still at Tik tok

Petra - same

Jet Sng - moved in to new apartment dy (Mahsing Luna) marriage?? No plans yet...

Choo - working at Balakong selling chemical. 🙄 Dog

 Had a successful CNY reunion :D

Wai kit - soon to be retrenched, will be looking for new job at Singapore 

Me - no significant update 

Ah chai - just changed company to Ericsson a few months ago

Jia yi - just started phD course to get a chance to be a permanent staff at the university 

Kim - no significant update 

Khe heong - no significant update, might try for a second kid after 2 years

Jet sng - will be getting new house this year, after renovations will move in with girlfriend and might sign papers soon

Liang wei - no significant update (more like I didn't really get a chance to talk to him and his wife since they were sitting across the table and came late)

Okay that concludes this year's update.

2024 update

 This year reunion was decent turn out; about half of us. We had the reunion before CNY cause everyone is too busy during CNY. It's always nice to get to meet everyone even if it's only once a year. So on to the update for everyone.

First those that couldn't join

Wai kit - not back from Singapore since the dinner was a weekday before CNY holidays

Boon - overseas family came over

Jeya - couldn't get off work ( I think he wasn't in Malaysia at that time)

Choo - company dinner on the same night

Jet sng - last minute said can't come, he was supposed to fly for family holiday the next morning

Okie update on to those that came

Jia yi - just got married like in January signed papers. Most probably won't be having a wedding ceremony, see if her mom wants it.

Kim - nothing much, still in TicTok 

Khe heong - had a baby girl around July? (Or was it June?) last year. Doing well with the baby, with help from her parents. Might consider having another child in the future.

Me - nothing to update

Liang Wei - still working in Langkawi most probably will continue to work there even though his wife is currently working in KL. Not really planing for child yet

Ah Chai - working back in KL. Not working overseas in the near future; "had enough of flying" wor

Chong Meng - company doing well. After so many years he only let us know his company name <_< ; Core Angel Education (investment education company) trying to diversify the company, might get into cigar trading. As for marriage, still planning <_< even though has been engaged for some years

2023 dy lor

 Aiya for some reason I kept thinking I already made a post for last year. But I actually didn’t. Haiya! Then I’ll just give a short summery for 2022 lah.

Khe Heong got married, Kim graduation, Liang Wei got married.

That’s all the important events that I can remember for 2022. So last move on to this year’s CNY gethering.

Surprisingly we had a good turn out for this year’s gathering. Attendance include

Me, JETSNG + GF, Jiayi, Kim, Ah Chai, Liang wei + wife, KheHeong + husband, Wai kit and surprisingly Chong Meng was eating at the same restaurant with his company. Choo last minute FFK (no surprise there)

Yeah it was great getting to meet up again and feels like time never moved on with the way we tease each other. It feels like we are back in school.

Okay I shall now attempt to do an update on those that were present for CNY gathering.

Me: no changes

Kim: working at tiktok no changes

Ah Chai: or should I say Da Chai currently posted to work in England enjoying life over there. Hopes to get to stay there a few more years

Khe Heong: pregnant, expecting baby this year 

Liang wei: don’t have better job opportunities in KL so will still be at Langkawi

Jet Sng: wedding soon?? Maybe. 

Wai kit: currently working in Singapore, comes back on weekends to be with family.

Jia Yi: most probably will be staying in Bangkok, trying for a promotion and house. Potential BF? <_< 

Chong Meng: company getting bigger and bigger, getting married soon <_<

special CNY gathering in special way (follow SOP) - 不”疫“样的聚会

I almost forget about this blog until our creator mention it. Appreciate on our creator put many effort make this blog alive. Hope I can remember and spend  times to write something here..haha

2021 such a special year. For me, 1st time online gathering. others ppl maybe get used for that la, dont know la..i very 'sua gu'...hahah...

Welcome our creator, Petra, next Wait Kit, Kim, Xiao Cai, Liang Wei, Kani, Choo, Boon and last Me. No missed out anyone right??😂Jeya and Chong Meng not join, 1 standby for job, 1 at relative house. So far everyone look good and do well. 

And good news to celebrate, congrat Wai Kit has little jason or little bin this year, dailou jiu shi dailou. But oh, why never get angpau from orang ni since wedding 2 or 3 years ago ah👿👿then, congrat Liang Wei proposal to his gf, he plan this year married, yeah, can give us angpau next year!!

Also just plain-t seemed boring so I gave the guy a hoodie jacket but forgot to change the sleeves long so erm.... I don’t know what he is wearing.

Wai kit 2020 (first half) update

This CNY I've been to Guangzhou when the pandemic have just started, Wuhan was closed by that time, ppl in GZ are very serious about it, mask is a must when u go out, shopping centre and public transport limit access with temp monitoring. And most of the sightseeing are closed. We didn't went to many places, many shops and restaurants are closed too. But we enjoy ourself nearby and in the hotel with family. Delivery foods to hotels, gamble, chit chat etc.
When i got back from GZ, my company given me 14 days of Stay Home Notice and i actually went back to Kepong but I didn't meet up with anyone coz i suppose to stay home...then i go back to SG.
My company did not shut down even after Malaysia started lockdown and SG start Circuit breaker, coz we are essential services producing F&B. But we have hard time to operate in this situation coz many of our workers went back to Malaysia before the lock down, causing shortage of manpower. And many of our china operators also not willing to stay in SG due to the outbreak in the foreign workers hostel. Government also starting to give many instructions to operate with regular visit to the factory. Things become very complicated. My wife is working from home but i still have go to work daily. So dun worry, we dun argue much. The low cost condo i bought in Kepong also going to hand over to us so I have 1 unit to rent out coz my friend already book 1 from me..haha...anyone interested to rent pls let me know...*im not a realty guy.

2020 update

The yearly blog update. Hey I’m updating it on Valentine’s Day. Why? Just cause I found myself having to awkwardly wait for my cell group to come. Oh well, on to our annual update that no one reads.So this year our CNY only had 6+1 people.So I’ll update on the people that couldn’t come first.Kim: was rushing here thesis and on 31feb she submitted! Yeah! Still waiting for results but I’m sure she will graduate this year. As of now, she is a NEET. Hopefully not for long.Khe Heong: was supposed to join the CNY reunion, but was sick last minute. 😞He brother’s house in Elimna, Shah Alam is finished, so here family has moved there, so if we meet around Kepong area it takes her about 40mins. Her own unit should only be finished this year.Wai Kit: first year married man, was away during CNY. So no ang pow for us.Jet Sng: was also away during CNY, and I have not seen him since Wai Kit wedding, so I got no updates on him.Jeya: working at that time, also have not meet up with him since last year CNY. This person is really hard to get, he didn’t even go to Wai Kit’s wedding.Boon: I only know he is doing real estate now and nothing else. Didn’t even give a reason for not coming.
Ok now on to those that could make it for reunion.
Chong Meng: 1. He brought his girlfriend, oh sorry fiancé. 2. He just bought a house in Subang. Still working on his company seem to be getting along fine.
Liang Wei: still in Langkawi, still waiting for opportunity to come back to KL. Doing fine with girlfriend.
Papa: gone to India for work again. Others as usual.
Choo: Somehow he appeared, apparently he will appear if we PM him. 😶 He is planing to get married this year, but won’t be having a wedding ceremony. Just registration and immediate family only. He also got a house somewhere along Jalan Kepong, and he will be having an open house, we are invited. 
Jia Yi: planing to leave Bangkok in October this year, where to next? Still don’t know. Then she told us the story of a guy that like her, but she wasn’t interested in him, so now the guy ignores her.
Me: just the usual me being unproductive. I do have a job at least 😬 
So until next year.
