This CNY I've been to Guangzhou when the pandemic have just started, Wuhan was closed by that time, ppl in GZ are very serious about it, mask is a must when u go out, shopping centre and public transport limit access with temp monitoring. And most of the sightseeing are closed. We didn't went to many places, many shops and restaurants are closed too. But we enjoy ourself nearby and in the hotel with family. Delivery foods to hotels, gamble, chit chat etc.
When i got back from GZ, my company given me 14 days of Stay Home Notice and i actually went back to Kepong but I didn't meet up with anyone coz i suppose to stay home...then i go back to SG.
My company did not shut down even after Malaysia started lockdown and SG start Circuit breaker, coz we are essential services producing F&B. But we have hard time to operate in this situation coz many of our workers went back to Malaysia before the lock down, causing shortage of manpower. And many of our china operators also not willing to stay in SG due to the outbreak in the foreign workers hostel. Government also starting to give many instructions to operate with regular visit to the factory. Things become very complicated. My wife is working from home but i still have go to work daily. So dun worry, we dun argue much. The low cost condo i bought in Kepong also going to hand over to us so I have 1 unit to rent out coz my friend already book 1 from me..haha...anyone interested to rent pls let me know...*im not a realty guy.

2020 update
The yearly blog update. Hey I’m updating it on Valentine’s Day. Why? Just cause I found myself having to awkwardly wait for my cell group to come. Oh well, on to our annual update that no one reads.So this year our CNY only had 6+1 people.So I’ll update on the people that couldn’t come first.Kim: was rushing here thesis and on 31feb she submitted! Yeah! Still waiting for results but I’m sure she will graduate this year. As of now, she is a NEET. Hopefully not for long.Khe Heong: was supposed to join the CNY reunion, but was sick last minute. 😞He brother’s house in Elimna, Shah Alam is finished, so here family has moved there, so if we meet around Kepong area it takes her about 40mins. Her own unit should only be finished this year.Wai Kit: first year married man, was away during CNY. So no ang pow for us.Jet Sng: was also away during CNY, and I have not seen him since Wai Kit wedding, so I got no updates on him.Jeya: working at that time, also have not meet up with him since last year CNY. This person is really hard to get, he didn’t even go to Wai Kit’s wedding.Boon: I only know he is doing real estate now and nothing else. Didn’t even give a reason for not coming.
Ok now on to those that could make it for reunion.
Chong Meng: 1. He brought his girlfriend, oh sorry fiancé. 2. He just bought a house in Subang. Still working on his company seem to be getting along fine.
Liang Wei: still in Langkawi, still waiting for opportunity to come back to KL. Doing fine with girlfriend.
Papa: gone to India for work again. Others as usual.
Choo: Somehow he appeared, apparently he will appear if we PM him. 😶 He is planing to get married this year, but won’t be having a wedding ceremony. Just registration and immediate family only. He also got a house somewhere along Jalan Kepong, and he will be having an open house, we are invited.
Jia Yi: planing to leave Bangkok in October this year, where to next? Still don’t know. Then she told us the story of a guy that like her, but she wasn’t interested in him, so now the guy ignores her.
Me: just the usual me being unproductive. I do have a job at least 😬

CNY 2019
Hehe another year has pass and it’s a CNY post again. At this point I’m just updating it as my secret place to write stuf since I don’t think people even use blogspot anymore. On top of that, I’m writing this from my phone with a broken screen. Anyway I should get to the updates.
So this year we had a good gethering too. We had 9 of us, and 1 is a new person. Yes! Liang Wei brought his girlfriend. I’m really sorry, but I can’t remember her name.
Anyway, let me talk about those that didn’t or can’t attend first.
Wai Kit was only around for like first 2 days of CNY and then went to Johor, since his family was away on holiday.
Papa had to catch a flight the night of the gethering so he can’t make it.
Choo didn’t appear in the chat at all so I don’t know

Ok the people that were around,
Liang Wei, came with a plus one. Asked my to keep it a secret, since I was the organizer this time and he wanted to give the others a surprise. I don’t think he will coming back to work inKL soon since his girlfriend is from Langkawi.
Liang Wei girlfriend. Nice girl, could fit in with us just fine.
Jia Yi says she will stay in Thailand until her project finishes. But she don’t really know when that will be. So I’ll still have time to visit her in Bangkok.
Chong Meng working very hard to built up his company. Heard his sister just given birth recently, so he is an uncle now.
Jet Sng same same later for 1 hour. Same same working in his dad company. Planing to get a house before any wedding plans.
Khe Heong same same work. But no plans of getting married yet. Or maybe she doesn’t want to let us know yet. Who knows.
Kim still working in that shady company while trying to finish her thesis. You can do it dear! Finish your thesis before 30
Jeya it’s been more than a year since I seen him. His job seems good and stable. But he will not be settling down anytime soon, he just enjoys the freedom of being single.
This year we went to a Korean restaurant. We had some Korean bbq and soju and other side dishes. Then we proceed to a bar and have some beer, where we chatted and play some games.
Our next gethering should be wai kit’s wedding. The plan is to get a nice Airbnb nearby so we can gether/ sleepover/ get a little drunk. You know like a mini trip together.
Ah after the CNY dinner I felt like I came home. Somehow you guys feel more familiar and more like family than relatives. I feel like I’m just myself around you guys. I truly believe friends are the family you choose, and the family I chosen is a good one. =)

2018 CNY update
Yeah! I remembered to make a post early this year, hopefully i’ll remember to post more this year.
So Valentine’s Day just passed a few minutes ago, but really I don’t care, what I care is we had a successful gethering. So we had, Wai Kit, Chong Meng, Liang Wei, ah boon, ah choo, Jia Yi, Petra, Kim and Khe Heong.
Well tried to add a photo but too much trouble, and our Facebook group is also basically dead, so... guess we just have to remember it with our memories.
So we all met at Jungle City after work and had western new year dinner. Why Chinese New Year dinner at a western food place? Just cause no one suggested any other thing.
For updates:
Boon - new company, enjoying life, single
Jia Yi - still in Bangkok, plans to continue PhD after finishing her current project, should be by 30, single
Petra - getting ready for Archi part3 exam planing to take exam 30
Kim - as of now working hopefully finish masters soon, fingers crossed before 30
Liang Wei - still in Langkawi, plans to come back to KL when the four seasons kL branch is stable, single
Wai Kit - working in Singapore (got fat from working late), bought an apartment
CM - self employed, but market is slow 😐
Khe Heong - new job, company under same boss as Wai Kit

Jeya’s dad pass away a few days ago, still haven’t got a chance to meet/ talk to him, hope he and his family is fine.
Chai will be only back Friday? Might meet up. Seems he’s at some pasific island, don’t ask me, my geography is basically 0.
So that’s it for now.

2017 update
hehe.. so it’s a yearly update now. I don’t think you guys will ever visit this blog but I still would like to keep it, so here’s a simple update to know where we all are this year.
First, me still in the same job enjoying my work.
Jia Yi, is still at Bangkok, she should still be there till next year. Well who knows.
Kim, kind of working for now, will be finishing her thesis next year. Well that was the plan she told me.

Wai Kit, working in Singapore
Jet Sng, future boss. Working at his family company
Chong Meng, has his own company teaching financial literacy. I think, something like that.
Papa, has been recently sent to Fiji. Seems to be enjoying his time there.

A new year.... 2016
Hey it's already Feb! i kept wanting to write something for Jan but was much to lazy. Yeah, i guess that's why this blog is dead? dying? well i just realized there were only 2 post last year, one was CNY like now, and 2nd was just me randomly remembering to write.
Actually we met for countdown this year, meaning you guys were the once that end and started my 2016, hopefully it will be a good year for all of us. We were in Wai Kit's new house. it's nice and big. They had soooooo much food. Thanks Wai Kit for inviting us and letting us chat till early in the morning =D. First time i stayed out so late, luckily my mom didnt question too much.
Next meet up is basically for CNY. We met twice cause some were busy during CNY. We had pre CNY dinner at Liang Wei's house, sorry for making you cook >.< but also glad to hear that you will be coming back KL to work. that way we'll get to meet up more often. Next, we spend a whole day at Wai Kit's house for CNY. What we did there?? Just watch TV, clear his food, play cards, play with the massage chair. It was great! Thank you Wai Kit and family for your hospitality! =D
So a short update, Papa is back from Bangkok, but will be going to another place for work soon. Hope he has fun. Liang Wei is planing to come back to KL to work. Jia Yi is back, but might be going back to Bangkok to work. Boon grad and working dy, but I don't know about his convo. I guess the rest of the people not much to update.
So that is it for now. Hopefully this won'n be the only post for the year =P

hi october 2015
yeah, wai kit suddenly asked about the blog 2day... so now its a half year post dy... better than nothing i guess... just in case you guys wan to write some stuff just go to the first post... the password is still the same
anyway... october has the most b'day back to back... boon, jia yi, ah chai, khe heong... even miss mah and vimal's birthday is around this time so happy birthday guys! i always remember the 1st year we celebrated it in our class, the lab... it was great... i wonder when we can all gather like that again...

CNY 2015
Just back form desa park and making a post on my phone... Well tats a first... Just wanted to rember 2day... Well I guess you can say this is our family reunion dinner... Though dinner was standing around a park bench for 4 eating Ayamas and mcD... But it's nice to just spend time with each other... Really appreciate everyone for coming out even though everyone is so busy... We don't get many chance to gether like that... So even if it is only once a year I'm happy... Looking forward to out next gathering... Most probably next year... But still we r family... So it's fine...

Busy busy...
haha... guess what month it is now... its already nov... so frm july to nov... its like a 3 months gap... ahh... what to do we are all so busy... so i'l juz try and update what ever for now... so mayb one day one of you suddenly remembered this blog it's nice to have some stuf to read and remember...
so me 1st... now i'm back to upm doing me Part 2... its tiring... but that's how architecture is...
then wai kit is back from US like last month... now he is looking for a job... actually he might have got a job dy now... i'm now sure... but hope he gets the job he wants...
wai kit and khe heong will have their convo next weekend... and before that was... choo and chong meng's convo... which none of us could make it... well wai kit n khe heong's convo i also cant make it.. so... ah chai's convo was much earlier so me n kim got to go... kind of sad cant go to you guys convo cause its a nice memory... graduating....
anyway... kim just finish her Little Prince re-staging... i'm sure it was great but i also couldnt go... but some of them went... and she will be continuing her masters next year after CNY...
jia yi is still in Bangkok... the rest are working... boon will be finishing his study next yaer if i'm not wrong... jet sng is busy "fishing"....
yeah... so i guess that's all for now... was wondering when we could all meet again... but looking at my asgms... i think CNY at least for me... miss you guys...
